As a professional makeup artist and hairstylist, Cher has had the pleasure of working on many runways, movie sets & commercials. Some of her work has been published in the U.S. and also internationally in magazines like Men's Fitness Magazine, Self Magazine, People Magazine, Forbes Magazine, D Magazine, Modern Luxury Magazine, FD Luxe, Lady Gunn Magazine, Vogue Italia online, and No Cigar London to name a few. Clients have included JC Penney's, Gatorade, Belk, & Stanley Korshak/ Stanley Korshak Bridal Salon. Her work has been seen on MSNBC, Fox Sports Southwest, Style Network’s “Big Rich Texas”, Starz Network’s “Magic City”, Lifetime’s Little Women of Dallas and also commercials for the AAC and Dallas Mavericks, and the Geoffrey Ballet. Cher is has been working on the popular Bravo TV show, Real Housewives of Dallas since season 1, as the resident artist. She is now currently working on Season 4 of the show, doing hair and makeup for Brandi Redmond.
With a total of 20 years in the beauty industry, Cher honed her business & entrepreneurial skills by working a double life in finance and the beauty industry. Twelve years ago she left the finance industry to follow a dream and started Makeup Artistry by Cher. She has been teaching HD makeup artistry skills and professional business skills to budding makeup artists for the last 3 years with a company called GlamLab Makeup Studios. Because of her background, she has been invited to work at the 2016 SIC conventions and work on world leaders such as the Secretary of Agriculture of Mexico, Víctor Manuel Villalobos Arámbula, work on financial segments of MSNBC.
Cher enjoys working in the runway industry and has had the pleasure of working along side fashion greats such as Zac Posen. She has had the honor of personally working with Rachel Zoe. And has worked on shows such as Chanel, Brunello Cucinelli, Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera, to name a few.
As a strong believer in encouraging our youth to explore their artistic talents, promoting positive self-image & individuality, Cher takes pride in volunteering in art classes and speaking publicly to local young women and men. For the last 10 years, Cher has been working closely with the Lone Star Circus school, making over the young kids as well as the talent in their professional shows. In years past, she has also partnered with the Dallas Children’s Theater and the Dallas International School teaching theater makeup to DIS and their nationwide sister schools, during theater camp held in Dallas.
